| Contenuti | L’insegnamento tratta la misurazione in psicologia e la costruzione di test psicometrici. Vengono analizzati i modelli di misurazione (riflessivi e formativi), le scale Likert, le teorie dell’attendibilità (Classica e della Generalizzabilità) e le diverse forme di validità. Il programma include l’analisi delle componenti principali (ACP), analisi in fattori comuni e la validazione degli strumenti tramite il software R. |

| Obiettivi formativi | Al termine dell’insegnamento, lo studente dovrà raggiungere i seguenti risultati: |
| Prerequisiti | Fondamenti di statistica descrittiva e inferenziale; metodi di ricerca nelle scienze sociali. |
| Metodi didattici | Lezioni frontali ed esercitazioni in classe con software R per un totale di 48 ore. |
| Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento | Esame scritto composto da 31 domande a risposta multipla (45 minuti). La prova scritta è seguita da un colloquio orale obbligatorio, al quale è possibile accedere solo previo superamento dello scritto con un punteggio minimo di 18/30. |

| Contents | The teaching covers psychological measurement and test construction. Topics include measurement models (reflective/formative), Likert scales, reliability theories (Classical/Generalizability), and various forms of validity. It includes Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Common Factor Analysis and tool validation using R. |

| Course objectives | At the end of the course, students should have achieved the following outcomes: |
| Prerequisites | Foundations of descriptive and inferential statistics; research methods in social sciences. |
| Teaching methods | Frontal lectures and classroom exercises with R (48 hours total). |
| Assessment methods | Written exam consisting of 31 multiple-choice questions (45 minutes). The written exam is followed by a compulsory oral interview, which can only be accessed after passing the written exam with a minimum score of 18/30. |
