Course objectives | During the course, topics from differential calculus for functions of one variable, and from integral calculus are treated in a unified manner, privileging the applicative aspects, however without renouncing to a presentation of formal elements and tools. We provide students with basic knowledge of Mathematics, fundamental in management, treatment and presentation of data. In particular, our aim is, throughout the study of classical Mathematical tools, to make the students acquire essential knowledge for an effective study, also with attention to the logical and formal aspects of many other disciplines included in their curriculum of studies, and enable them to understand fundamental formalizations of problems in different areas: economic-financial, social, demographic, bio-medical, environmental and energy. |
